THE NEW ZEALAND OPERA SOCIETY

Jamie Frater (2nd runner up in the 2005 Lexus Song Quest) will be returning for a short time from London where he is studying with Margaret Kingsley.

He will be presenting a concert of songs and arias by Verdi, Gounod, Britten, Brahms, and more.  He will be accompanied by Emma Sayers on Piano.

The concert is at 8pm on Friday, the 7th of April at the National Library Auditorium in Wellington (Cnr Aitken and Molesworth Streets.  Tickets are $30 ($15 concession) and will be available at the door.

Jamie will be returning just one week after a series of Masterclasses with Anne Murray and Philip Langridge. 

Come along and see how Jamie's studies are going and chat about the Royal College of Music, and music in general in the United Kingdom.
