THE NEW ZEALAND OPERA SOCIETY

Sirius Opera presents Impersonating Maurice by John Drummond and The Daughters of the Late Colonel by Dorothy Buchanan at The Wellesley Club, Maginnity Street, Wellington.

Sets are by Glenn McDean, costumes by Sharon Matthews, accompaniment by pianist Hugh McMillan with piano accordionist Lynne Scott. In Impersonating Maurice (based on Shadows, by W.L. George), Philip Broderick is Dr Ivor Chale and Ellen Watts is Flora Knowles. In The Daughters of the Late Colonel (based on the story by Katherine Mansfield) Madeleine Pierard is Josephine Pinner, Ellen Watts is Constantia Pinner, Jamie Frater is the Rev Mr Farolles and Olivia Fraser is Kate.
