The 2005 Mozart Fellow at Otago University is Christchurch composer Rachel Clement. Her opera for children, Jam, was written for Canterbury Opera Youth and was performed in August 2002, having been selected earlier that year as one of the operas showcased in the Wild Opera project initiated by Creative New Zealand and SOUNZ. |
